The Massachusetts Public Health Association recently held their annual meeting and conference, where they launched their Act FRESH campaign... we would suggest checking out the link, for anyone who is interested in the policy side of our discussions. Exciting to see the public health officials connecting the dots between local agriculture and healthy diets...
Also, at this conference they talked at length about regional food policy councils and a statewide food policy council to promote local foods etc. This might be an important fit for the whole group. MPHA has something called an Act FRESH campaign that could support the public policy challenges that we discussed at our meeting on Thursday. Go to
